Lexington Three Announces eLearning Day for Friday, September 30th

Lexington County School District Three announces that Friday, September 30th will be an eLearning Day for students and staff members across the district due to the potential for severe weather resulting from Hurricane Ian. District administrators have been working closely with emergency preparedness officials throughout the week monitoring the projected path of the storm. Forecasters anticipate wind gusts on Friday that could be in excess of 40 miles per hour as well as heavy rainfall, thus making travel conditions unsafe not only for buses but for anyone who may be out on the roadways. The move to eLearning on Friday means that any scheduled school-related activities such as games, practices, meetings, etc. are canceled. Our highest priority in Lexington County School District Three is the safety of our students and staff and all decisions are made with this in mind. More specific information regarding the eLearning Day on Friday, September 30th can be found below.
