Brantley Buzhardt Named New Assistant Administrator at B-L Middle School

Lexington County School District Three announces Brantley Buzhardt as the new Assistant Administrator for Student Services and Athletics at Batesburg-Leesville Middle School. Mrs. Buzhardt joins BLMS from Batesburg-Leesville High School where she worked as the Secondary Administrative Intern, Assistant Athletic Director, and a Physical Education teacher. She also coached numerous sports during her time at BLHS, most recently serving as the Varsity Softball Assistant Coach, Varsity Head Volleyball Coach, and JV Head Softball Coach.

Mrs. Buzhardt holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Newberry College and is a graduate of Saluda High School.

In her new role, Mrs. Buzhardt's primary responsibilities will include supporting students and teachers by ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to maximize student growth. She will also provide additional support for academics, athletics, and behavior to continue the positive school culture already established at Batesburg-Leesville Middle School.

Mrs. Buzhardt and her husband, Scott, have three children - Lyla, Winton and Walker. Mrs. Buzhardt will assume her new role at the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
