Lexington County School District Three proudly recognized and celebrated the members of our Retiree Class of 2026 on Tuesday, May 5th with a beautiful reception held in the lobby of the new Batesburg-Leesville High School gymnasium.
This year, ten dedicated individuals are retiring after contributing a remarkable combined total of 229.5 years of service to our school district alone. Their impact on our students, schools, colleagues, and Batesburg-Leesville community is truly immeasurable.
During the reception, each retiree received Lexington Three’s official district retirement gift — a rocking chair — as a symbol of appreciation for their years of dedication, hard work, and commitment to education.
Through the years, these retirees have inspired minds, supported families, led with compassion, and helped shape countless lives. Their legacy will continue to be felt throughout our district for years to come.
